Mass for Anastacio Mendoza, 82, of Post will be at 10 AM on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Fr. Jacob Powell officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery wiil be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Rosary will be held on Sunday at 6 PM at the funeral home.

Anastacio died on September 22, 2022 in Lubbock. He was born in Mexico on September 28, 1939 to Romulo and Anastacia (Soto) Mendoza. He married Ausencia Rivero on May 3, 1969 in Mexico. He worked as a farmer prior to his retirement. Anastacio was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife Ausencia Mendoza of Post, three daughters: Guadalupe Mendoza of Ft. Worth, Casi Ceron of Ft. Worth and Maria Flores of Lubbock, four sons: Manuel Mendoza of Post, Balta Mendoza of Post, Martin Mendoza of Post and Rene Mendoza of Weatherford, one sister: Sara Mendoza of Mexico, one brother: Mauricio Mendoza of Dumas, 30 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
