Chapel services for Anita Payne, 85, of San Angelo will be at 10:00AM Saturday in Hudman Funeral Home Chapel in Post with John Hedrick of Graham Chapel Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 6-7:00PM at Hudman Funeral Home.

Anita died on October 27, 2019 in San Angelo.  She was born in Post on January 9, 1934 to L. P. and Ruby (Thomas) Kennedy Sr.  She married Floyd Payne on February 2, 1951 in Post.  She lived in Snyder for many years where she worked for the ASCS.

Survivors include her husband Floyd Payne of San Angelo, two sons: Carl (Susan) Payne of Big Spring and Cliff (Darla) Payne of Mineral Wells, one sister: Betty Young of San Angelo, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
