Services for Avery Soto, 12, and Rayven Soto, 15, both of Post will be at 2 PM Monday, April 12, 2021 in the Antelope Arena with Jimmy Valdez officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

They died on March 30, 2021 at their home in Post. Avery was born in Lubbock on November 22, 2008 and was a sixth grade student in Post Middle School. Rayven was born on March 31, 2005 in Lubbock and was a sophomore at Post High School.

Survivors include their mother, Amanda Soto of Post and father, Javier Mendoza Casilles of Post, one sister, Ariel Soto of Post, three brothers, Gerardo Gonzalez of Mission, Tx, Jose Mendoza-Paredes of Mexico and Javier Mendoza-Paredes of Chicago, Ill.
