Graveside services for Barbara Bonnett, 82, of Post will be at 2 PM Thursday, October 24, 2021 in the Crews Cemetery near Ballinger. Arrangements are under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Barbara died on October 24, 2021 in Lubbock. She was born on September 27, 1939 in Eldorado, Texas to Richard and Susie (Damron) Faught.

She worked as a secretary for several businesses and for Southwestern University. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters: Susan (John ) Boren of Post and Sherri Bryan and fiancé William Burton of Longview, Tx., one sister: Edna Sue (Norm) Miller of Doss, Tx., five grandchildren: Colton Bryan of Norman, Ok., Garrett Bryan of Longview, Tx., Justin (Erin) Boren of Lubbock, Tx., Julie Boren of Lubbock, Tx. and Kolin (Chelse) Bonnett of Abilene, Tx. and one great granddaughter: Quinlan Bonnett of Abilene, Tx. She is also survived by a daughter-in-love: Whitney Hill Corbett of Abilene, Tx,  two nephews: Michael (Veronica) Baethge of Doss, Tx. and Bradley (Lisa) Baethge of Doss, Tx. and a former son-in-law: Kenny Bryan of Ore City, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son: James Neal Bonnett.
