Becky Johnson, 65, of Slaton Tx passed away on Monday , Oct. 3rd, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mart Butler, and Monte and Mike Delozier, her paternal grandparents Wiley and Grace Johnson, her dad, Johnie Johnson, and her sister Belinda (Johnson) Yates.

She was survived by her mom, Sue (Butler) Johnson of Slaton, her brother, Roger and Debbie Johnson of Vernon, her kids/nieces and nephews Justin and Kelly Johnson of Guthrie, Tx, Shawn Yates of Lubbock, Shyla Johnson of Vernon, Tx and Marli Johnson of Childress, Tx, 5 great-nieces Journey, Kenli, Kyra, Kaley and Jewel and 5 great-nephews, Riggin, Kagen, Zachary Korey and Jacoby, and numerous family and friends.

Becky graduated from Coronado High School in 1975 and continued her education at Internation Business college where she received her business degree. After working a few jobs, she found her calling working as head bookkeeper for the District Clerk's Office in Lubbock County for 20 years before retiring in 2022. Becky fought a long 2-year battle with cancer before the Lord called her home. She will forever be remembered for her hard work, determination, and most of all for her loving, caring, selfless heart.

Visitation for Becky will be held at Hudman Funeral Home in Post Tx on Wednesday, Oct. 5th from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Oct 6th at Hearts Together Church of Christ in Slaton, Tx. at 10 AM .

Pallbearers will be Roger Johnson, Justin Johnson, Shawn Yates, Josh Burnett, Riggin Johnson and Kagen Welch. Honorary pallbearers are Zachary Yates, Korey Morales and Jacoby Johnson.
