Belinda Yates, 61, of Lubbock, Texas died January 1, 2021 in Lubbock.  She was born April 3, 1959 in Lubbock to Johnie & Sue Johnson.  She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Yates of Lubbock; Mother, Sue Johnson of Slaton; Son, Shawn (Jill) Yates of Lubbock; Brother, Roger (Debbie) Johnson of Vernon; Sister, Becky Johnson of Slaton and 2 grandchildren, Zachary Yates and Bryce Taylor of Lubbock.  She is preceded in death by her father, Johnie Johnson.

Services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1:00PM in Genisis Baptist Church, 4112 E. 2nd Street, Lubbock, Tx with Brother Ben Phipps officiating.  Interment will follow at 4:00PM in Terrace Cemetery Post, Tx.
