Benjamin (Ben) Thomas Hicklin went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Ben was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma on May 9, 1973 to Cecil and Mary Louise (Truesdale) Hicklin. He passed suddenly and peacefully in his sleep at his home in Post. He graduated from Glenpool High School in Glenpool, Oklahoma, Class of 91. In his adult life he worked as a correctional officer and a SWAT team leader and also worked as a carpenter and contractor.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Ronald Hicklin. He is survived by his wife, Teri Jo, and his stepson, Bryce of Post, Texas, his son Geremy Hicklin of Oklahoma, his brothers Arthur and Ronna Hicklin of Nixa, Missourii and Robert and Leslie Hicklin of Shawnee, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his in-laws, Terry and Kenda Bartlett of Post, Texas, Eric and Keri Ann Thompson of Post, Texas, and his nephews and niece: Zach Hicklin of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Brad Hicklin of Dale, Oklahoma, Joseph Thompson of Post, Texas and Ana Thompson of Post, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the familyasked that memorial gifts be given to Fremont Hills Baptist Church (4375 N. Freemont Road, Ozark, MO 65721 or Concerned Women for America (P. O. Box34300, Washington, D. C. 20043).

Services wiil be at 10 AM Friday, February 28, 2020 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Garner officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 until 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
