Betty Corene Posey Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 8, 2024 at age of 87. Betty was a resident of Post for over 50 years. She loved to serve and was very active in the community. She was treasurer for Women's Chamber of Commerce, Calvary Baptist and Post EMS. Betty worked as a Secretary for Mayor Giles McCrary for 10 years. She then worked for Jim Prather as secretary for OS Ranch Steer and Roping, and Art Exhibit for 10 years. Betty was a Basic EMT for EMS of Post from 1984 to 2009. She loved helping People and made yearly trips with the River Ministry to Mexico. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Gene, her parents and 4 siblings. She is survived by 2 Children Dave Posey (Nanda) of Owasso, OK and Tricia Bellinghausen (Bruce) of Amarillo TX. She left 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be 2 P.M Monday, February 12, 2024 at Hudman Funeral Home A private burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.
