Graveside services for Billy Martinez will be at 2 PM Monday, February 15, 2021 in Terrace Cemetery with Fr. Samuel Oracion officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Billy passed away on February 12, 2021 in Post. He was born on February 7, 1939 in Garza County to Philip and Lupe (Herrera) Martinez. He was a lifelong resident of Post and worked as a farmer/rancher most of his life. He married Elida Garza in 1957 in Post. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include three children-Gloria(Joel) Miller, Billy (Tammy) Martinez and Danny (Frances) Martinez, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, one brother, Cecil Martinez and two sisters, Tillie Martinez and Hiawatha Garza and many relatives who offered support throughout his declining health. He is also preceded in death by four brothers, Phillip Jr., Joe, Roger and Frank, four sisters, Frances, Annie, Wanda and Daisy May.

The family wishes to offer special thanks to the nursing staff and aides of Post Nursing and Rehab for their continued support and prayers.
