Graveside services for Boyce Overton, 74, of Post will be at 1 PM Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Terrace Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 6 until 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Boyce died on November 29, 2021 in Lubbock. He was born on May 28, 1947 in Perryton, Tx. to Thomas Daniel and Cliffa (Enfield) Overton. He married Joyce Whitaker on December 6, 1966 in Perryton. She preceded him in death on January 28, 2011. Prior to his retirement he and Joyce owned Caprock Water Well Service.

Survivors include four sons: Robert (Debra) Presson of Tomball, Texas, Shon (Ginger) Overton of Abilene, Texas, Brian (Suzanne) Overton of Seminole, Texas and Chad (Jennifer) Overton of Clarksville, Tennessee, one step-son: Harley Gruben of Houston, Texas, one sister: Kay (Roger) Smith of Casa Grande, Arizona, one brother: Eddie Overton of Perryton, Texas, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Clifford and Danny Overton and two sisters: Jerry Lee Spirlock and Joyce Ann Overton.
