Services for Carol Ann Lawson, 76, of Post will be at 2 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. C. C. Peoples officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Carol died on September 24, 2022 in Lubbock. She was born on June 24, 1946 in Post to Hulen and Verniece (Spencer) Hoyle. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Carol worked as a cook for Twin Cedars Nursing Home for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Lawson of Ft. Worth, one daughter, Amber Lawson of Post, one son, Brad (Tracy Haynes) Hoyle of Post, four sisters, Ella Greathouse of Post, Willa Faye Burleson of Houston, Marchelle Clay of Post and Sharon Drones of Abilene, two brothers, Hulen Hoyle Jr. of Post and Scotty Hoyle of San Angelo, six grandchildren and one great grandson.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Barbara Hoyle, Deborah Hoyle, Grace Scott and Dorothy Greathouse and one daughter, Misty Lawson on March 15, 1995.
