Services for Cedaelia Williams, 83, of Post will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, January 24 at the Draw First United Methodist Church with Rev. Monty Barnett of Clyde officiating. Burial in the Draw Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Cedaelia was born in Jones county on November 13, 1934 to Ted and Ruth (Williams) Washburn. She married Walter Williams on December 24, 1951 in Post. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2001. She was a supervisor in the boll weevil eradication program for a number of years. She was a member of the Draw United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons: Milton and wife Billie Williams of Post, Randy and wife Deb Williams of Grassland and Delwin and wife Twilia Williams of Pasco, Wa., one sister: Lavena and husband Monk Palmer of Post, one brother: Glendon and wife Kathy Washburn of Denver, Co., 9 grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Cedaelia was also preceded in death by one son:Kenneth Williams in 2013 and by three brothers: Norman Washburn, Robert McAfee and James McAfee and by two sisters: Mollie O'Brien and Jolena Bridgeman Blair.
The family suggests memorials be made to Draw United Methodist Church.
