Services for Colleen Witt,83, of Wylie and formerly of Post will be at 2 PM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Jimmy Valdez officiating. Burial in Terrace will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 7:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Colleen died on December 18, 2017 in Wylie. She was born on August 13, 1934 in Crosby County to Wylie and Gracie (Wells) Johnson. She married Charles D. Kirkland who preceded her in death in 1992. She married Edgar witt in 1976 in Ruidoso, Nm. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2006. She worker as a bookkeeper and Tax preparer for many years.
Survivors include three sons:William Kirkland of Rule, Tx, Charles Kirkland of Haskell, Tx and Johnny Kirkland of Post, Tx., one daughter: Linda Oughton of Rockdale, Tx, one sister: Lorene Kelly of China Springs, Tx., eleeven grandchildren:Tim, Dennis and Chris Kirkland, Barrett Day, Brandy O'Brien, Brooke Shedd, Blake Shedd, Ryan Kirkland, Kyle Kirkland, Krystal Kirkland and Brad Kirkland and 15 great grandchildren.
