Curtis "Curt" Covert passed on the 31st of August 2021 in Alvarado, Texas at the age of 84. He was born on the 14th of May 1937 in Kerrville, Texas to Henry and Hazel (Harlin) Covert.

Curt proudly served in the US Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959. He attended Texas Tech University in the Heating and  Air Conditioning business his entire adult life until his retirement.

Curt's hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing golf, photography and flying. He was an avid traveler and did so extensively.

Curt was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Jane Rieth and his second wife, Carol Sue Harrison.

Survivors include his daughter Kim Covert of Lincoln, Nebraska; his son Stephen Covert and his wife Brenda of Arlington, Texas; his son Jeff Covert and wife Ginny of Suwanee, Georgia; and his daughterLeslie Covert of London, UK. Curt has one sister; Hazel (Gerald) Foltyn of El Campo, Texas, two brothers; Joe (Janeen) Covert of Kerrville, Texas and Harlin (Barbara) Covert of Kerrville, Texas. Curt has six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A memorial service was held on March 24, 2022 in Kerrville at Glen Rest Cemetery.
