Delfina Marie Saldivar 97, of Post passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at her residence. Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 21, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Jacob Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Delfina was born September 11, 1925 to the late Manuel and Anna (McClellan) Marquez in Raton, NM. She has lived in Post since 1949. Delfina is survived by her sons Esequiel Saldivar and wife Beatrice of Lubbock, Ernie Saldivar and wife Renee of Post, Frankie Saldivar and wife Elvira of Lubbock, Javier Saldivar and wife Lynn of Roanoke, TX., Christopher Saldivar and wife Tiffany of Post; daughters Josie Aguilar of Post, Teresa Ayala of Post, Christina Norman of Post; brother Ernie Marquez of San Bernardino, CA.; twenty one grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Esequiel. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Ayala III, Michael Ayala, Mario Ayala, John Norman, Richard Saldivar, Steven Ayala, Jamie Ayala, Ernie Saldivar, Jr., Paigen Morris and Javier Saldivar.
