Delmo E. Gossett 101, of Lubbock formerly of Post passed away Sunday, Aug. 11 2024. Services will be held at Hudman Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Terrace Cemetery with Vance Bowden officiating.

Delmo was born Sept. 1, 1922 in Garza County, TX. He was a graduate of Post High School in 1941. Delmo married Wynona Kennedy on August 20, 1943 in Post.

Delmo served in the Army Air Corp. He served overseas in Asiatic-pacific theater as a radio mechanic.

Preceded in death were his wife Wynona in 2023 and daughter Layne Taylor in 2004. He is survived by his daughters Lana Shelton of Lubbock, TX., Jana Woody of Floresvile, TX; son John Gossett of Lubbock, TX.; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and sixgreat, great grandchildren.
