Evelyn Wynelle Fitzgerald Craft, 93 of Jacksboro, TX formerly of Post passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at Greystone Park Assisted Living in Jacksboro. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Post Church of Christ with Travis Sweet officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. A visitation will be 10:00 A.M. on Saturday prior to service time at the Church.
Wynelle was born August 15, 1932 in Munday, TX to the late Cecil W. and Mildred (Draper) Fitzgerald. She graduated from Munday High School at age 16. During that senior year of 1948-49 Wynelle was named Harvest Queen. She played baseball, volleyball in school years, then tennis and golf in later years. She shot a hole-in-one at the Cloudcroft NM golf course in 1981. Wynelle worked in the accounting field for 60 years for Texas Public School System and local businesses. She retired as Administrative Aide III from Texas Public School System and continued working until her late 70's. She worked many different places including Ely & Walker, Inc, Caprock Chevrolet, Conoco Dealership, Ralph Kirkpatrick Auto Electric Shop, City of Post, Guthrie ISD, Southland ISD, and WJC Inc. Wynelle loved her family, the Lord, her church, cooking, scrapbooking, traveling, country music, dancing, crossword puzzles, and free cell.
Wynelle is survived by her Daughter Vicki (Sudie) Mills Miller and husband Henry Miller of Cypress, TX; Son Toby D Craft of Jacksboro, TX; Daughter Trasi D Craft Ogle husband Tim Ogle of Jacksboro, TX; Daughter in Law Kim Mitchell Mills Oller of Lubbock, TX; Sister in Law Barbara Kirschner Fitzgerald of Munday, TX; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grand children; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sisters Marquietta Ward, Sharlene Drennan, Brother William (Billy Frank) Fitzgerald and Son Larry Don Mills.
