Services for Gazzie Lee Harper of Post will be at 10 AM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Post with Pastor Arthur Kelly officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Gazzie was born in Waco, Texas to Odell and Margie Curtis who both preceded her in death. She died on July 27, 2022 in Lubbock. She married Larry Harper on August 3, 1979 in Post.

Gazzie had seven sisters and eight brothers. She had one beloved son, Terry Curtis. She was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas Curtis, Eugene Reese and Jimmy Curtis, sisters Glenda Guyton and Doris Hughes and her niece Terri Lynn Curtis.

She leaves behind her husband Larry Harper of Post and her son, Terry Curtis of Lubbock (the apple of her eye). She leaves behind her precious 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who were her pride and joy.

She also leaves behind her five brothers Lemuel Curtis, Clinton Curtis, Richard Curtis and Kenneth Curtis all of Post and Odell Curtis (Dexter) of Austin and her five sisters Linda Bell and Vivian Jefferson of Post, Beatrice White of Austin and Marilyn Delce (Tinny) of Snyder and a host of nieces and nephews.
