Guadalupe Valdez's Obituary
Mass for Guadalupe Valdez, 69, of Post will be at 11 AM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Fr. Jeganathan Arulsamy officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Southland, Texas. Rosary will be on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
He died on November 27, 2017 at his home near Southland. He was born in Slaton, Tx on October 21, 1948 to Guadalupe and Manuela (Yanez) Valdez. He married Fannie Carmona on November 23, 1964 in Slaton. He worked for many years as a farmer.
Survivors include his wife Fannie Valdez of Post, one son: Larry and wife Tina Valdez of Slaton, one daughter: Gloria Valdez of Post, one sister: Maria Valdez of Woodrow, 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
