Services for Harold Craig, 85, of Post will be at 10 AM Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Steve McMeans of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Harold died on October 23, 2017 in Idalou. He was born to Emery and Myrtle Irene Craig on May 7, 1932 in Reverie, Tennessee. He married Frances Webb on September 15, 1956 in West, Texas. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2013. He work as a supply supervisor for Burlington Industries. He also served in the US Air Force, as a deacon in the First Baptist Church and as a member of the Post City Council.
Survivors include three sons: Harold Craig of Grand Prairie, Kevin and wife Donna Craig of Mansfield and Keith and wife Michelle Craig of Idalou, two brothers: Gene Craig of Piedmont, Mo and John Craig of St. Louis, Mo., four sisters: Inez Doba of Spring, Ruth Anderson of Las Vegas, Nv, Dorothy Lutee of Millstadt, Ill and Eileen Moore of Godfrey, Ill and 9 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church Christian School, 402 West Main, Post, Texas 79356
