Henry Charles "Papa Chuck" Mannis
August 10, 1936 – November 14, 2025
Henry Charles Mannis passed away peacefully at 9:00 a.m. on November 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary Helen Mannis; his parents, Henry and Trevah Mannis; and several of his brothers and sisters.
Born on August 10, 1936, in DeWitt, Arkansas, Charles was the oldest son of Henry and Trevah. The two married just six weeks later in Gallup, New Mexico, a decision that would lead to a lifetime of love, partnership, and devotion. Together they welcomed three daughters, whom they raised with unwavering affection and steady hands.
A hardworking and dedicated provider, Charles never went without a job, and he made sure his family never went without a meal. He shared with his daughters his love of music, a passion for books, and countless treasured evenings watching John Wayne movies. To his grandchildren, he was lovingly known as "Papa Chuck," a steady, gentle presence in their lives.

Charles "Papa Chuck" Mannis leaves a legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
