Mrs. Imogene "Nana"(McDougle) Landtroop, 95, of Merkel, Tx passed away Friday morning, May 8, 2020 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Imogene was born June 4, 1924 in Post, Tx.  Daughter of the late Irvin Thomas and Myrtle Lee (Scott) McDougle.

She worked at the Texas Cotton Mill Garment Factory in Pecos, Tx where she retired.  She loved to garden, crochet, beadwork, and to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Coyt Landtroop Sr.; two sons, Wendell Coyt Landtroop Jr. (Josephine), and Charles Glen Landtroop; grandchildren, Deborah Jean Bertleson, Eddie Jo Stokes, and Wendi Dawn Landtroop; two brothers, Garland McDougle ( Evelyn), and Irvin McDougle; and two sisters, Estalee Walker, and Thelma Lois McDougle Bilberry (CB Bilberry).

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Landtroop Brookshire (Weldon) of Pecos and her daughter-in-law, Sabrina of Merkel; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren.  She also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, May 12, 202 in Terrace Cemetery in Post, Tx
