This describes the spirit of Jackie Sue Mason Hutton.

She was born on June 7, 1938 and passed from this world on April 27, 2024.

She grew up here and attended Post schools where she met and fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Jim Hutton.

They were married on June 9, 1956 and enjoyed 61 years of marriage.  They had four children, Mark Hutton and wife Brenda, Marla Stanford and husband Wade, Lisa Huelster and husband Brian and Nancy Durham and husband John.  They also had 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren whom she cherished.

She was a good listener and a prayer warrior.  Jackie possessed a quiet spirit with a compassionate servant's heart.  There was always a song on her heart and she loved to sing about her Savior.  We miss her voice.  She was an excellent cook and enjoyed ceramics, needlepoint and collecting depression glass.  Jackie is reunited in heaven with her husband, Jim, parents Grover and Willie Mason, sister and brother-in-law Joy and Glynn Barron,  brother and sister-in-law Jody and Helen Mason, sister-in-law Brenda Mason and brother-in-law Roger Wright.  Jackie is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Lewis and Jane Mason, brother GT Mason, sister-in-law Kathy Wright, her children and their families and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie loved her family and was loved by her family.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.
