Visitation for Jakie (Jake) Baldree, 77, of Post will be held from 6 until 7 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Hudman Funeral Home. Private Family services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Jake died on September 26, 2022 in Post. He was born on October 14, 1944 in Slaton to J. B. and Lois (Freeman) Baldree. He married Mary Madrid on June 2, 1972 in Post. He worked as a driller in the oilfield.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Baldree of Post, one son: Robert (Vanessa) Baldree of Lubbock, two daughters: Barbara Martinez of Post and Paula Hernandez of Post, one sister: Paula Covington of Coleman, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Russell Baldree, on August 2, 2004.
