Jimmy Holleman Sr., 94, of Post died September 28, 2019 in Post.  He was born to Franklin & Daisy Holleman in Konawa, Oklahoma.  He was  a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII.  In August 1946 he married Ila McDougle in Post.  He served as Garza Co. Sheriff and worked in the oilfield.  He is survived by his wife, Ila Holleman of Post; daughters, Carol and husband Mark Short of Post; Mary Roxie and husband Larry Finney of Fresno, California; 1 son, Jimmy Holleman Jr. of Dublin, Tx; 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Sue Holleman in 1965; and Barbara Reece in 2001.  A family visitation will be held Monday, September 30 at Hudman Funeral Home from 6-7:30PM.  Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 1 at 1:00PM in the First Baptist Church in Post.
