Moreman
February 14, 1945 – January 30, 2024
Rebecca (Janice) Moreman Born to Weaver and Pearl in their home on February 14, 1945. A birthday that she shared with Jana for 54 years. She went to her eternal forever home on January 30, 2024 peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family.
A skilled hairdresser and accomplished seamstress, she found joy in creating clothing for the girls and quilting with her sister. Janice graduated from Post High School in 1963 and was a member of the Methodist Church, and made Post her permanent home in 1983 after a divorce from George Scott.
She now joins her parents Robert Weaver Moreman, Pearl Collins Moreman, husband George Scott and her loyal companion Henry.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted family: Jana Bullard and husband Keith, Lana (Pooh Baby) Scott, Shana (Sam Baby) Smith and husband Wade Smith, along with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Known as Momma, Meme, and Gigi, Janice leaves a legacy of love. She is survived by her older sister, Jo Ann Miller, and husband Leon Miller of Lubbock, and her younger brother, Larry (Bud) Moreman of Post. Janice's extended family includes many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In honoring her life, let us remember the warmth she shared and the enduring love that binds this family together. Visitation with the family will be held at Hudman Funeral Home on Friday, February 2nd, from 6:00-7:00 PM. Services will be held at Caprock Springs Fellowship at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 3rd. Immediately following, there will be a private graveside service at Terrace Cemetery in Post.
