Jerry Austin Benham, 71 of Post passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at his residence. Services will be held 1:30 P.M. Friday, November 11, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Post. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 7:30 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the funeral home.
Jerry was born January 2, 1951 in Matador, TX. To the late G.A. and Sue Benham. He married Lorena Kay Anderson in 1969 at Spur, TX. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and had a love for hunting and hotrods.
He is survived by his wife Lorena Benham of Post; sons Greg Benham and wife D'Linda of Rotan, Russel Benham and wife Sandra of Post; daughter Becky Daniel and husband Chad of Post; thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Terry and David Benham.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons Quentin Benham, Kolbie Benham, Brad Benham, Wyatt Benham, Hayden Benham, CorDale Benham and Jericho Moore.
