Services for Joe Stanley, 72, of Post will be at 2 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the First Baptist Church with Karen Conner of Midland officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation was from 6 until 7:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Joe died on November 2, 2019 in Lubbock. He was born on May 5, 1947 in Spur, Texas to Joe R. and Betty (Perkins) Stanley. He married Ruthell Jackson on December 2, 1972 in Post. He drove a truck for many years and later owned Stanley Truck and Tire.

Survivors include his wife, Ruthell Stanley of Post, three sons: Robert W. Stanley of Tomball, Lance D. (Angela) Dunn of Lubbock and Lex D. (Rachel) Dunn of Lubbock, one daughter: Lana (Randy) Conner of Post, his mother: Betty Stanley of Post, one brother, Kenneth Stanley of Post, two sisters: Paris (Wes) Farley of Andrews and Patsy (Kim) Wilks of Post, Grandchildren: Kylor Dunn, Kaygan King, Cheree Wuensche, Alexis Dunn, Tristan Dunn and Lynzee Slate, Great-grandchildren: Parker and Rollins Dunn, Conner and Collyn Wuensche, Kinslar King and Taylor and Tristan.
