Services for Johnnie Guthrie, 76, of Post were held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Koreen Guillermo officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery was under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Johnnie died on November 11, 2020 in Lubbock. He was born on March 19, 1944 in Bell County to Charley and Ellen (Bennett) Guthrie. He married Pat Cook on September 2, 1962 in Shallowater. She preceded him in death on March 22, 2019. He worked as a car salesman and later as a truck manager for Frito Lay. Johnnie was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Post.

Survivors include one daughter: Kylene and husband Mark Wheeler of Post. one son: Shannon Guthrie of Levelland, three sisters: Connie Row of Madison, Wi, Judy Auston of Kansas, Mo and Sandra Reisinger of Clearwater, Fla, one brother: Bob and wife Bonnie Catwell of Madison, Wi and three grandchildren: Kristen Tims of Lubbock, Rylie Guthrie of Levelland and Ian Guthrie of Levelland

The family suggests memorials to the Post Masonic Lodge.
