Johnny attended South Plains college but ended up getting drafted into the United States Army, where he served our country for 15 yrs. After his Army career, he returned home to join his father and brothers at H&M Dirt Contractors, where he retired after many years. Johnny loved family. He loved spending times outdoors. He rodeoed, he took care of kids, he spent lots of time with grandkids, he loved telling stories and joking around, he would play jokes and he loved to aggregate others. He loved to dance and go to just drive or ride around the tanks and sit by fire pits
There was never a dull moment with johnny
His past time was going to Ruidoso or just anywhere there was water. He loved church and he loved honky tonking.
He loved life and he loved to make people smile. Johnny will be greatly missed and we ask, at this time for prayers of peace and healing for all of his loved ones. This is where the cowboy rides away.
