Mass for Juanita Pantoja, 89, of Post will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Fr. Jeganathan Arulsamy officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 6 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Juanita died on July 5, 2022 at her home in Post. She was born in Post on March 26, 1933 to Hilario and Anita (Galindo) Jimenez. She graduated from Post High School and married Herbert Pantoja on August 1, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2006. Juanita was a faithful member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where she served on the parish council, Eucharistic minister and was a member of the Guadalupanas. She also served on the Post City Council for 12 years. She worked as a nurse for Garza Memorial Hospital for 6 years, Dr. Harry Tubbs for 4 years and as the office nurse for Dr. Wilson for 23 years.

Survivors include one son: Nick and wife Adela Pantoja of Mexico, three daughters: Phyllis and husband Luis Ayala of Amarillo, Melissa and husband Walter Perez of Post and Yolanda Navarro of Post, 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Jesusa Jiminez, brother Ruben Jiminez and sisters Estela Andrews and Sofia Martinez.
