Judy Bush, 78, of Post died on January 7, 2026 in Tahoka. Graveside services will be Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:00 am at Terrace Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 PM at the Post Church of Christ, 108 N Ave M, with Jon Page and Eric McCampbell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Hudman Funeral Home, 615 W. Main St. Post.
She was born on October 7, 1947 to JD and Vada (Satterwhite) McCampbell. She attended Post High School where she first asked out Jerry Bush during "twerp week" as a freshman. They married on January 27, 1967 in Post. Together they were married fifty-two years and raised cotton, cattle, and 3 daughters in a loving Christian home. Through the years she ran her own bookkeeping service, worked for Hill & Hill Transport, ASCS, and retired as the Garza County Tax Assessor Collector in 2012. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Terrace Cemetery and Garza County Historical Museum. After retirement she could be found either at her grandchildren's games, feeding hungry cowboys at different ranches in the area, or traveling to see new places.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Jerry Don McCampbell, son-in-law Daniel Yarbro, and nephew Jim McCampbell. Survivors include three daughters: Trevah Yarbro of Post, Traci (Robbie) Freeman of Post and Salli (Jonathan) Page of Canyon, nine grandchildren: Clinton (Mary) Yarbro, Quinton Yarbro, Kale (Katy) Yarbro, Will (Hailey) Yarbro, Ryan (Taylor) Belongia, Reece (Allisha) Belongia, Raegan Mayfield, Journey (Dakota) Page, Jolie Page, and thirteen great-grandchildren: Kahl, Jaxon, Hadley, Jonsey, C. J., Tres, Lily, Stoney, Lizzy, Daniel James, Hatley, Maverick and one on the way.
The family suggests memorials to the Graham Chapel Community Center ℅ Courtney Howard 621 FM 1313, Post, TX 79356 , the Garza County Historical Museum 119 N Ave N, Post, TX 79356 or the Children's Home of your choice.
