Services for Edna Bilberry, 92, of Post will be at 9 AM Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Valdez officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.

Edna died on June 6, 2022 at her home in Post. She was born on February 3, 1930 in McLennan County near Eddy, Texas to Vinson and Alice (Wood) Guthrie. She married L. D. Bilberry on January 23, 1970 in Post. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1973. She worked at Postex Cotton Mills for many years and later as a cook at various restaurants. Her last job was as a delivery person for the Garza County Trailblazers.

Survivors include four daughters: Joni Huffman of Post, Judi (David) Martin of Post, Dian (Art) Pettet of Cody, Wyoming and Lizz (Wesley) Shankles of Colorado City, two sons: C. J. Bilberry of Post and John (Sandra) Bilberry of Las Vegas, Nevada, 17 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild soon to be.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter: Jeannie Wilkinson on November 17, 1998.

Pallbearers will be C. J. Bilberry, John Bilberry, Chris Bilberry, David Graves, David Martin, Dylan Huffman, Dalton Huffman and Art Pettet. Honorary pallbearers will be David C. Martin, Wesley Shankles, Grandsons and Great Grandsons and the Guthrie nephews.
