Memorial services for Louise McCrary, 97, of Post will be at 11 AM Monday, January 15, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jerry Koch officiating assisted by Rev. Elizabeth Abraham and Fr. Malcolm Neyland. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery.
Louise died on January 9, 2018 at her home in Post. She was born on December 10, 1920 in Fort Worth to John and Octavia (Moore) Luton Sr. She married Giles C. McCrary Sr. on May 25, 1940 in Fort Worth. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2011. She was active in the Presbyterian Church and the Texas Tech Museum.
Survivors include one daughter: Mary McCrary of Lubbock, one son: Giles C. McCrary Jr. of Fort Worth, four grandchildren:Molly Andrews of Round Rock, Michael Prather of Post, Giles C. McCrary III of Atlanta and Isaac McCrary of Germany and eight great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter: Pam McCrary on October 2, 1979.
