In loving memory of Luis Macias Mendoza, 74, resident of Post Texas since 1974. Luis was born on November 17, 1949 in Mexico to Manuel & Maria. Oldest of nine children and a devoted partner since 1969.

Survived by his wife Consuelo and their six children, Horalia, Juan, Noe, Cenorina, Maria and Ana Gabriela. Eleven grandchildren Nancy, Marine, Isabel, Luis, Christian, Melissa, Ulyssa, Alex, Noelia, Natalie, and Santiago and ten great grandchildren.

Luis spent his time as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He dedicated most of his life into his welding career and spent his time driving through the scenic roads of Post. He will be remembered by all for his courageous and strong personality.

Open Casket at Hudman Funeral Home on Thursday January 18, 2024 starting at 10am. We will gather for prayer at 6pm. 615 Main St, Post, Tx.

Friday January 19, 2024 Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 205 Main St Post, Texas at 10am with Father Jacob Powell officiating. The burial at Terrace Cemetery, 1280 US-380 Post, Tx will follow after.
