Graveside services for Magdaleno "Mike" Sanchez, 91, of Post will be at 2 PM Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 in Terrace Cemetery with Fr. Samuel Oracion of Holy Cross Catholic Church officiating.

Mike died on October 17, 2020 in Lubbock. He was born in Yoakum, Texas on February 7, 1929 to Ascencion and Conception (Garcia) Sanchez. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Mike worked for the City of Post for 28 years and after retirement served as a Garza County Commissioner for 12 years.

Survivors include three daughters: Linda Collazo of Post, Irene and husband Ollie Abraham of Post and Mary Ann and husband Hal Swinford of Kyle, one brother, Robert Sanchez of Lubbock, one sister, Aurora Vargas of Post, 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
