Graveside services for Margie Nell Higgins, 88, of Post will be at 2 PM Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Terrace Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Margie died on September 2, 2022 in Lubbock. She was born in Olney, Texas on April 28, 1934 to D. J. and Myrtle (Dodson) Bruton. She married Wesley Dennis (Higgie) Higgins on March 13, 1953 in Newcastle, Tx. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son: Dennis Higgins of Post, one brother: Kenneth (Birdie) Bruton of Olney, Tx, one sister: Doris Buchella of Brenham, Tx., five grandchildren: Rylan Higgins of Lubbock, Ryan Higgins of Snyder, Bryson (Veronica) Higgins of Snyder, Ethan Bilbo of Colorado Springs, Co. and Jacoby Bilbo of Denver, Co. and two great grandchildren: Caden Higgins of Snyder and Carter Higgins of Snyder.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter: Denece Huie on December 24, 2021.
