Mary Ann Milhoan Cade was born on January 21, 1930 the youngest of 10 children to Miles and Ruth Milhoan in Wildorado Texas. She passed away in the home of her daughter Cecllica, her constant caregiver for the last 6 years of her life in Lubbock Texas on June 2, 2025. She was 95 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Richard Cade, 1st born daughter Maude Elaine Cade and 1st born Grandson Richard Cade.

She is survived by her daughters Cecillia and Sally, Son Tom Calvin and bonus son Cade Minder (Al Minder), She had four Grandchildren Danielle, Richard, Kay and Ray. Seven Great Grandchildren Kristian, Zech, Lnea, Zane, Loran (Bo), Kiaya and Kyra and 2 Great Great Grandchildren Christian and Kuiper.

Her cooking was enjoyed by so many in Post at Jackson's Cafeteria, the Senior Citizen's Club, the Rotary Club and especially the Baptist Church which she felt was her most important ministry. Her hot rolls were her claim to fame.

Mary was also an accomplished seamstress among many other crafts and showed her true artistry in the quilts she made for her family.and loved ones.

She enjoyed gardening and her pecan trees were here pride and joy.

Although she was a widow raising 4 children alone, one with special needs, her home was always a place of love and safety for so many other children.

Visitation will be 5 to 6 P.M. Friday, June 6, 2025 at Hudman Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church in Post at 11 A.M. on Saturday June 7, 2025. Followed by a luncheon provided by the church.

Graveside services at Jayton Cemetery to follow the luncheon.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice, the Senior Center of Post or the First Baptist Church in Post.
