Services for Mary Nelson Welch, 82, of Lubbock and formerly of Post will be at 10 AM Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Post Church of Christ with Todd Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow in Terrace Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Mary died on March 16, 2020 in Lubbock.  She was born on September 4, 1937 in Temple to Barney and Ollie Mae (Carroll) Wilson.  She worked for Slaton Bakery for many years.  She married Dayle Nelson on April 6, 1956 in Slaton.  He preceded her in death on August 27, 1997.  She later married Robert Welch on May 3, 1999 in Roswell, NM.  He preceded her in death in 2011.

Survivors include two daughters: Patricia (David) Bradbury of Guthrie and Donna (David) Robinson of Abilene, two brothers: Deljuan (Sandy) Wilson of Post and Sherrell (Robin) Wilson of Slaton, five grandchildren: Rusty (Regina) Bradbury of Panhandle, Kim (Andy) Hickam of Amarillo, Chris Robinson of Virginia, Nikki (Austin) Lemmons of Robinson and Vanessa (Kandon) Culberson of Tennessee and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Max Wilson and Dural Wilson and one sister: Jimella Simpson.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of Lubbock.
