Octavio Gomez Paz passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 At the age of 58. He is preceded in death by his parents Octavio Gomez SR. And Micaela Gomez Paz also his son Efrain Gomez and his brother Margarito De la Paz Gomez.

Octavio was born August 11, 1967 in El Mulato, Mexico To Octavio Sr. and Micaela. He was a hardworking, motivated man who adored his Grandchildren more than anything. He had a passion for horses. He loved training and racing them when he could. He was a mans man and loved being outdoors.

He is survived by daughter Mariaha F. Gomez Medina and husband Omar; his grandboys Elijah Medina, Ethan Medina, Ramon Medina, Mason Medina, Omar Medina, Jr. his son Vivian Gomez daughter in law Julie Gomez; his grandboys Syrus Gomez, Orion Gomez; brothers Antonio Gomez and wife Veronica of Post, Roque Gomez and wife Frances of Post, sister Erica Armendariz of Eunice, NM. and an abundant of family he deeply Loved.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Hudman Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Valdez officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. A Christian service will be held 5:00 P.M. Friday, October 3, 2025 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Vivian Gomez, Michael Gomez, Rocky Gomez, Jr., Rueben Gomez, Noel Armendariz and Omar Medina.
