Patricia Evalee Bishop, 74, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Slaton, Texas lost her battle to cancer at home December 25, 2019 surrounded by family.  Pat was born in Knox City, Texas on June 16, 1945 and lived in and around Levelland, Texas most of her life.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. Costephens and Eva Bell Costephens, brothers; Floyd Comer, Ray Comer, Leroy Comer, sisters; Maureen Oxford and Sue Wallace.  She is survived by brother Mart Comer.

Pat married Carl Franklin Bishop on February 6, 1962 in Levelland, Texas.  Pat and Carl were about to celebrate 58 wonderful years of marriage.  She loved Elvis Presley, Coca-Cola collectables and leaves behind a legacy of amazing family dishes including her special chocolate gravy.  She is survived by husband and three children, Leila Ann and husband Mark Croucher of Athens, Alabama; Carl D. "Wayne" and wife Melissa Bishop of Springtown, Texas; and Michael and wife Jenny Bishop of Arlington, Texas. 8 grandchildren; Jessica Sadler, Amanda Guthrie, Dustin Bishop, Jake Bishop, Shelbie Bishop, Randi Bishop, Marlee Croucher, and Michael Bishop.  7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 30, 2019 at 2:00PM in the Hudman Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Southland Cemetery.  A visitation will be held Sunday at Hudman Funeral Home from 5-6:30PM.
