Graveside services for Peggy Howell, 78, of Post were held at 10 AM Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Terrace Cemetery with Rev. Keith Garner officiating. Visitation was from 4:30 until 6:00 PM Wednesday at Hudman Funeral Home.
Peggy died on July 25, 2021 at her home in Post. She was born on September 10, 1942 in Garza County. She graduated from Post High School and Mary Hardin Baylor College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Peggy married Graydon Howell on June 23, 1962 in Post. She taught school for many years retiring from Junction ISD. Peggy was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Graydon Howell, Sisters, Stanna and husband Gerhard Pigl Welch of San Antonio and Ritalyn and husband Dale Suidikas of Lubbock and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her twin daughters, Ester and Geraldine Howell in 1963 and her parents, Stanley and Geraldine Butler.
