Services for R. C. Curtis Jr. of Post will be at 2 PM Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Kelly officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

R. C. died on June 5, 2019 in Lubbock. He was born on August 2, 1950 in Shiner, Tx to R. C. and Johnnie (Lampkin) Curtis Sr. He married Helen Reed on November 28, 2007 in Post.

Survivors include his wife Helen Curtis of Post, seven sons: Rodney Curtis of Lubbock, Henry Curtis of Post, R. C. Curtis III of Post, Terry Curtis of Post, Christopher Curtis of Post, Bradley Curtis of Post and Alvin Curtis of Oklahoma, six daughters: Carmen Cruz, Raquel Curtis of Orlando, Florida, Latoya Curtis of Post, Shalana Curtis of Post, Cherrlle Curtis of Post and Katrina Curtis of Post, five brothers: T. C. Curtis of Waco, Tony Curtis of Post, Bobby Curtis of Post, Charles Curtis of Post and Ray Curtis of Brownwood, three Sisters: Barbara Fields of Lubbock, Sylvia Moore of Lubbock and Sandra Moore of Post, 38 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
