Randy Melton 65, of Post passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his residence. He was born December 24, 1957 to Don and Johnnie Louise Melton in Terry County. Randy spent much of his adulthood working in the oilfield and spent 20 plus years working for H&M. He married Valerie Dawn Melton on November 15, 2002 and they were married 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents one brother, one sister and his wife Valerie. Randy is survived by his daughter Kelli Torres and husband Johnny of Post; grandchildren Johnny, Alias, Ayden, Karson Gracelynn and Hylah; daughter Brandi Quinonez and husband Ricky of Post, grandchildren Blaine, Natalie, Ricky III; son James Striblin and wife Shayla of Lubbock, grandchildren Naomi and Gage; son Gregory Striblin of Post. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Terrace Cemetery with Robbie Dean officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 5 to 6 P.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Johnny Torres, Jr., Ricky Quinonez, James Striblin, Gregory Striblin, Johnny Carlos Torres, Alias Torres. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ayden Torres, Blaine Spann, Karson Torres.
