Reita Kaye Litton was born on July 21,1950, in Duncan, Oklahoma. She peacefully passed away under hospice care on Thursday evening, February 26, 2026.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Post Methodist Church, formerly known as "First Methodist Church" 216 W. 10th Street
Post Texas 79356. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.
A visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3 2026 at the funeral home.
Reita graduated from Post High School in May of 1968. She went on to dedicate more than 30 years of faithful service as a sales tax enforcement officer with the State Comptroller's Office in Lubbock. Her strong work ethic and commitment to public service left a lasting impact on those who worked alongside her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Delane Litton; her mother, Rubye Jean Turnage of Post; and her beloved aunt, Dottye Mae Flores of Vivian, Louisiana.
Reita is lovingly remembered by her children: Kerri Doggett of Austin; Cody Doggett and wife Christy of Canyon; and Jayme McCall of Fort Worth.
She is also survived by her sister, Donna Sue Rolan of Brownfield; her nephews Jeff, Clay, and Philip Rolan and their families; her cherished grandchildren, Sarah Carsrud of Albuquerque and David Whitaker of Denton; and her three precious great-grandchildren, Jack, McKenzie, and Daphne.
Reita is further survived by her former husbands, Bill Doggett and Joey McCall, along with many extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched.
Reita will be remembered for her dedication, strength, and the deep love she held for her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Cody Doggett, Jayme McCall, David Whitaker, Jeff, Clay and Philip Rolan.
