Rheba Joann Propst, 84, formerly of Post, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021. Rheba was born March 10, 1937 in Texline, Texas to James and Mattie (Lee) Hays. Later the family moved to Post where Rheba graduated from Post High School. She married Charles j. Propst on November 21, 1962. The family moved throughout the United States until they retired in Post in 1982. Rheba had many careers throughout her lifetime including being a mother. She loved to read her Bible and attend Sunday School and Church at Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Propst, her parents, James and Mattie Hays, brothers, James Hays, Bill Hays, Gene Hays, Buddy Hays, Jackie Hays, Jerry Hays and Donnie Hays, and sisters, Liberty Anthony and Sis Gilmore. Survivors includes her daughter, Pamela Jones, her granddaughter and husband, Seth and Alexzandrea Vertucci, her great-granddaughter, Adalee Vertucci, her brothers, Pete Hays and Herbie Hays, sister-in-law Jeneice Jenkins.

Visitation will be held at Hudman Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 6:30 until 8:00 PM, with services at Calvary Baptist Church on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11 AM.
