Graveside services for Richard Hudman, 50, of Post will be at 10:30 AM Friday, May 20, 2022 in Terrace Cemetery with Travis Sweet of the Post Church of Christ officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 until 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Richard was born on May 30, 1971 in Bryan, Texas to Curtis and Julia (Landers) Hudman. The family moved to Post in June 1972. Richard attended high school in Post and later graduated from Amarillo College with an associate degree in Mortuary Science. While in high school he was all district in football and ran the hurdles in track. He also attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Richard married Lichele Hopson on June 21, 1997 in Shallowater. He was a partner in Hudman Furniture and Hudman Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Lichele of Post, twin children, Kyna and Kohen Hudman of Post, his parents, Curtis and Julie Hudman of Post, sisters, Jana and John Mundine of Post and Lori and Chad Marsh and niece Reagan of Brock as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family wishes to honor Richard's request that the services be casual-please no ties or suits. Any donations are requested to Garza County 4H Shotgun Sports, 180 US Hwy 380 West, Post, Texas 79356.
