Ricky Lee Gill, 73, of Post, TX, passed from this earth on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. He  was born May 9,1951, on Byrd Ranch to the late Allene and William Gill. On June 25, 1971, he married the love of his life, Margie Gill, in Post, Texas, and together they began their family. In his younger years, Ricky was an avid fisherman, but his true passion was riding his motorcycle and running his business, Gills Oilfield Construction.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 54 years, Margie Gill of Post; his sons, Lance Gill and wife Lisa of Post, Jason Gill and wife Jammie of Post; six grandchildren: Cheyenne and Trenton Jones of Lubbock, Ezra Gill, Zavan Gill, Avory Gill, Uriah Gill, and Raeley Gill all of Post; and the many extra grandkids that he lovingly adopted as his own over the years.He is also survived by his brother Archie Gill and sister Vickie Gill of Post and sister Lois Ann of Oklahoma.

Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Allene  and William Gill, and one sister Evelyn Vines.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hudman Funeral Home in Post, TX. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Living Water Apostolic Church, with burial to follow at Terence Cemetery in Post, Tx.
