Ronnie Parrish, born on November 17, 1944, as the last of five children to A.O. and Jewell (Ritchie) Parrish of Post. He was called home to the Eternal Promiseland On November 30, 2023.

Waiting for him are both parents, his 4 brothers and his Beloved Wife Ruby Parrish. Ronnie was born and raised in Post and grew up to become a cotton farmer like his father. He served in the Army as a welder. On February 16, 1980. Ronnie married his love, Ruby (Elmore) of Slaton and welcomed his first daughter Wendy Nelson of Post. They went on to have two more children, a son Ronnie Parrish (Post) married to Kristi Parrish (Post) and daughter Kassie Parrish (Post). He had 4 grand children; Granddaughters Laurkyn Stevens and Aidan O'Bryan, Grandsons Logan Boyles and Keegan Stanley (all of Post). He also has 2 Great Granddaughters and a Great Grandson

Ronnie was always someone who was willing to offer a hand when needed. or to give advice for home projects. His loss is deeply felt and his life was greatly treasured

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Hudman Funeral Home Chapel with John Bill Hedrick officiating. Interment will follow at Terrace Cemetery.
