Mass for Santiago "Jimmy" Gonzalez, 83, of Post will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Holy Cross Catholic Church of Post.  Rosary will be at 7:00PM Friday evening at the church.  Burial with military honors will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.

Jimmy died on October 29, 2019 in Slaton.  He was born on December 30, 1935 in Rodriques, Mexico.  He married Catalina Villa on February 20, 1963 in Post.  She preceded him in death on May 20, 2008.  He worked at Postex Cotton Mills for many years.  He served two hitches in the U.S.Army.  He was a deacon at Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Survivors include one son: Tommy Gonzalez of Post and one daughter: Nan Gonzalez of Post, two brothers: Domingo Sanchez of Fredricksburg and Jose Maria Gonzalez of Fredricksburg, one sister: Santos Garza of Big Spring, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
